What I do
I lead technology at dev&Co.
Co-founder and CTO. dev&Co. builds management, manufacturing and logistics software for industry, mainly iron and steel.

When it makes sense →How I got here
2004
First job, at a small manufacturer. There I wrote my first real system: I moved the internal controls off Clipper and onto the web, in PHP and MySQL. At the same time, I was a FAPESP research fellow on TIDIA-Ae, back when e-learning was still new.
2005
At Indústria Mancini, I built around Protheus what it did not deliver: mobility, advanced warehousing and approvals. I also ran servers and security, already on Linux and PostgreSQL.
2008 · 2011
At Effa Motors, I led the technology team, with direct access to the president. When the company started building cars, Protheus could not handle a car maker’s rules. I chose ADempiere: a complete, open source ERP that already had a web interface, which we could adapt without depending on a vendor. On top of it we built our own platform, and by 2011 the whole operation ran on it: plants in Uruguay and Manaus, dealers, warranty and warehouse.
2011 · 2013
dev&Co. was born in Leme, and I kept working with Effa in parallel. When iDempiere forked from ADempiere, I went with it from the very first release. In 2013 I left: the platform stayed with their team, and I focused on dev&Co. alone.
2014 · 2025
We took dev&Co. from software house to product company, focused on iron and steel. Along the way, talks at the iDempiere World Conferences in Krefeld, Lyon and Budapest, and at Concrete Show, São Paulo.
Today
CTO at dev&Co., now over 40 people in a new headquarters, connecting the ERP to shop floor machines and contributing to iDempiere.
